The French soccer world champion attended the HoF ceremony to witness the induction of his “Boy” into the elite honor. The Frenchman plauded the inductee and shared his overwhelming experience with the media.?

Tony Parker made history on 12th August 2023. The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame inducted him, making him the first Frenchman and the first European guard to achieve this honor. His loved ones came from all around the world to witness his induction into the Hall of Fame in person.?
Out of all the people present, two people caught the eye of the media because of their stature in the sports world. Soccer world champion Thierry Henry, and former Los Angeles Laker Ronny Turiaf.?
The presence of these two legends lit up the occasion even more. Henry was ecstatic that his “boy” was being inducted into the Hall of Fame. Henry, when asked about his feelings, said, ?It’s unreal. My boy is going into the hall… You can’t even imagine that first French guy to go in as a European you, growing up you don’t think about that… I’m kind of speechless. It doesn’t happen often.?

Similarly, Ronny crowned Parker as ?the French GOAT,? and said Parker was a leader and an inspiration for himself and many young athletes to follow.
Parker went on to thank Henry for his support.

The San Antonio Spurs, a famous team that won four NBA championships, has achieved entry into the Hall of Fame, solidifying their legacy in basketball. Tony Parker and Gregg Popovich were the only ones left to be inducted into the HoF from the group of four-time champions.
