6 Years Before 1st Outpatient Rehab, Dennis Rodman Failing to Keep His Word Due to His Addiction, Landed $15.11 Billion Worth Network in Trouble

Dennis Rodman is one of the most polarizing personalities in the history of the NBA. Being a former Chicago Bullsplayer and helping Michael Jordan win championships, he is known as one of the best rebounders of all time. In 2006, Rodman published his book titled ?I should be dead by now?.

In chapter 11 of the book, Rodman shared details regarding what it was like to work with him. We can also read about how he made it a struggle for his agent, Darren Prince, to manage him and his antics.

Rodman threatens to not show up

After his retirement. Rodman was completely off the leash. In 2002, Darren Prince arranged an interview with Rodman for the Best Damn Sports Show by the Fox Sports Net. Rodman had agreed to it, so the team heavily marketed it, and people were anticipating its release.

Dennis was out drinking with his friends on the day of the interview. Darren eventually located him and asked him to do that interview. This made Rodman reply, ?I am not f***ing going?.

Darren kept forcing Rodman because this would affect his reputation as an agent and all the players that were signed to him. He told them they would be ?screwed? and that?no one would ?take them seriously?. After some more forcing, he halfheartedly agreed to the interview.

They somehow got him away from his drinking friends and kept his phone turned off. When Rodman asked for his phone, they told him he might have kept it somewhere himself. They arranged for the camera crew to set up the interview at Rodman?s house in Newport Beach.

The interview didn?t go as planned

After getting back to his place and freshening up, Dennis started to level off and began getting thirsty. Dennis told Darren that he was hungry, but Darren said that he would go and get the food and told Dennis to focus on the interview. But when Darren wasn?t looking, Dennis left the scene.

He slept with the girl living across the street, and then he went with her on her moped. He came back a while later and gave tacos to the crew. Darren asked Dennis why he looked more drunk than before. But before Dennis could reply, the girl said that they had shots before getting back.
