The Los Angeles Lakers legend Shaquille O’Neal once again proved that he is the biggest Dallas Cowboys fan. While Shaq has often bet with his money on NFL games, this time around, he got caught up in a bizarre bet. And it landed him in trouble. He confidently made a bet on the Cowboys to win the Wildcard Round against the Green Bay Packers. Now that the Cowboys are eliminated from the season, let’s find out about Shaq’s bizarre bet that he has to fulfill.

This isn’t the first time where Shaq got caught up in an outlandish bet. In fact, he has lost two public bets for the Cowboys Wildcard game alone.

Featuring on a live video call with the ET online, O’Neal put himself on the line ahead of the Wildcard game and made a bet. He said, “If the cowboys lose, I will come and do a show with you and Nischelle in a cowboy suit… the belt, the hat, the shoulder tassels, all of that… I will even get my Texas accent.”

The high-profile match had a lot of celebrity fans watching the outcome closely. These include not only Shaq but also Simone Biles and 8x Olympic Gold Medalist, Usain Bolt, who strongly support the Packers. While Biles had a direct stake in the matchup with her husband Jonathan Owens playing for the team, Shaq too had put a lot at stake when it came to the Cowboys. Meanwhile, Usain Bolt had revealed earlier that he was a Packers fan.

Unfortunately, the game didn’t go in favor of the legend as Simone Biles’s husband Jonathan Owens and his men dominated the Cowboys and delivered their first home loss since the 2022 opener.

It was the Packers fans, including Biles and Bolt, who had the last laugh. The Cowboys stood no chance against the Packers in the Wildcard Round and the visitors impressed their fans with a 48-32 win on Sunday.

Every loyal NBA fan would know about the constant friendly banter between Shaq and ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith. Aware of the Lakers’ legend’s love for the Dallas’ side, Smith tricked him into a bizarre bet, days before the Wildcard round.

Big Diesel didn’t just bet on the Wildcard game, but to win the 2024 Superbowl. He said, I live on a 50-acre farm right down here in Texas, if they don’t win the Super Bowl, you can have my farm,” reported Sports Illustrated.

After the Cowboys’ Sunday loss, Shaq is all set to lose his 50-acre farm and would appear an ET show in a cowboy costume. And to top it all, he would bring out his Texas accent to the public eye.
