Shaquille O’Neal days on the top are over, it seems. With a blistering collection of 40 cars, it’s not unusual for the icon to flaunt the latest and the coolest of the lot. Case in point: Just in September this year, O’Neal revealed his custom-made Tesla $100,000 Cybertruck to the world—it is the first ever carbon fiber, wide-body car of its kind. However, even such acts are not enough for him to compete with rapper 2 Chainz. Or at least that’s what the Grammy-winning artist claims.

Tauheed Epps, better known by his stage name to the world, appeared on the NBA legend’s The Big Podcast with Shaq on October 31. While the duo discussed a plethora of topics ranging from the NBA to the NFL, a segment named Who’s got the Best Cybertruck got both of them fired up! The conversation opened with Shaq abruptly asking his guest, “You like Cybertrucks?” to which the rapper replied, “I love my Cybertruck.” The former player promptly asked 2 Chainz, “You want another one?” essentially starting the hilarious back and forth.

2 Chainz: “No, but I heard you was just trying to buy another one. Did you ever get your new one?”

Shaq: “I got two, and my bot who’s sitting behind us, he gave me like…they they go for 230 [$230,000], 240[$240,000]..he’ll give it to you for 200,000, 180,000, 190,000…”

2 Chainz: “I’m done. I only paid like one something for mine so I’m cool. Mine’s the hardest one out there.”

Shaq: “No it ain’t. I knew you were going to say that.”

2 Chainz [all fired up]: “I bet you got a picture [of my car] on Pinterest. People are going around wishing they could get some sh*t like mine. “

Shaq: “No it ain’t. That’s the second hardest one.”

What’s your perspective on:

Is Shaq's car collection truly impressive, or is 2 Chainz the real automotive connoisseur?

Have an interesting take?

Hilariously, this was not the end of the disagreement, as both continuously tried to outdo the other. At one point, the second host, Adam Lefkoe, even pulled up a picture of the rapper’s orange (complete with side decals depicting what seems to be a wolf) Cybertruck. The futuristic-looking vehicle is complete with three alloy wheels inspired by 90s cars. These were custom-made by Forgiato Wheels, a famous company that customizes vehicles. Posing next to his Cybertruck, the rapper shared the picture on his Instagram on July 3, with the caption, “This is the hardest.” The color was a homage to Atlanta.

Further in the conversation, 2 Chainz even claim that he has better knowledge of cars than Shaq, who just picks up whatever the manufacturers or dealers offer him. “He don’t know… Shaq just picked it up. I had already called, but I know mine. I knew I was going to shut everything down. Man, that’s what I do. It’s like dressing, like cars are like putting on clothes. To me, like everything, I go hard.”

Now this has got to sting Diesel who, as we’ve already mentioned, is a hardcore automobile enthusiast. The 52-year-old has the 1963 Cadillac Eldorado, the one that Tony Montana drove in Scarface, a “forever convertible” (as per what the legend calls it) 1988 Ferrari 355 F1 Spider that was customized to fit the 7’1″ man—the factory fuel tank was replaced with a special front-mounted tank to allow the owner more legroom, setting the seats back nine inches. The two-tone black and grey interior was modified with wider aftermarket seats. Part from that, Shaq also flaunts the ownership of a 2001 Customized Chevrolet Express G1500, a 2002 Customized Cadillac Escalade, a 2003 Bentley Azure, Arnage and Continental GT, a 2002 Lamborghini Gallardo, a 2016 Customized Dodge Challenger R/T Convertible, and a 2017 Polaris Slingshot, among other stylish four-wheelers. And if you thought he didn’t regret it, you’re wrong!

Yeah save. Cause I’m a tell you, even that now I have 40 cars and I don’t know why. I don’t know why. And I got 5 houses I don’t know why,” the former Los Angeles Lakers player had admitted once. 2 Chainz, on the other hand, is no less as he also reports state that the rapper has around seven cars ranging from a Rolls Royce Cullinan priced at around $400,000 to a three Merchedes Maybach’s among other vehicles.

But, funnily, Shaq doesn’t just pick automobiles, he gets them as presents as well. In fact, he recently received a one-of-a-kind drive.

Shaquille O’Neal receives Cybertruck as a gift

During his appearance on the Unapologetically Angel podcast, Shaq boasted of having 40 cars. Among them are his two brand-new Tesla Cybertrucks. He came across the automotive dealer, Effortless Motors one day, thanks to LeBron James’ minor issue with the company.

As soon as he discovered that the company had the Cybertrucks that could fit him in, he immediately bought two. He has always wanted the Cybertrucks.

No wonder that at the Go Big Conference, the Los Angeles Lakers legend confirmed that he doesn’t need any more cars. However, Effortless Motors and his best friend, Anthony Hall, surprised their most important client with one of the limited 100 Waido Live Body Cybertrucks, custom-built by Effortless Motor.

This gift was in exchange for the Dodge Charger Hellcat that O’Neal had given to the company. Shaq’s new vehicle also boasts 26-inch Forgiato Wheels and is the first widebody Tesla Cybertruck. But now that 2 Chainz has come to the fore, the NBA icon has an interesting rival.
