The household name in the NBA world, Shaquille O’Neal, might be cooking up a surprise. Tension has been rising due to TNT’s failure to crack a deal with the NBA, putting Inside the NBA in jeopardy. However, there have been new developments to give some relief as well. Such as Charles Barkley relaunching his media company. And the Big Aristotle might also have something up his sleeve, as a co-host nearly revealed the truth.
We would have wanted to know more, but Shaq interrupted. After watching the Lakers legend with DJ Whoo Kid, it was clear that the two were onto something. Shaq was the guest on SiriusXM’s Shade 45 show, which also featured DJ Whoo Kid as the guest host.
Before that, a behind-the-scenes clip shared to promote the episode became a highlight. Struggling to find the right camera angle to pose with Shaq because of his towering height, the host accidentally blurted out the truth. “This guy is so tall. I can’t even zoom in on him. The next billionaire right here,” DJ Whoo Kid said.

The most interesting part of Shaquille O’Neal’s business ventures is that the Big Aristotle aims to dominate in every area. His largest and most significant investment was in Google. Afterward, he launched his fast-food line, and currently, he has been increasingly investing in educational initiatives and interesting startups. Recently, he made a major investment in a company called Campus, founded by Tade Oyerinde.
ONeal also credited the man who has inspired him to get more creative with his investments. Speaking of Jeff Bezos, Shaq said, “I heard Jeff Bezos say one time [that] he makes his investments based on if it’s going to change people’s lives. Once I started doing that strategy, I think I probably quadrupled what I’m worth.”

Shaq had quietly worked to build his brand during his playing career. This only expanded further as he put in more effort after retirement. The Big Aristotle is an inspiration for all the other athletes. He has even held a position on the board of Papa John’s. Furthermore, his business portfolio includes shares in entertainment and media companies.
In a 2013 interview with CNBC, the Los Angeles Lakers legend stated, “I’ve always been a businessman who is athletic.” This sentiment has only become more apparent with his many recent ventures.
