All-Star Game warrants All-Star mischief. Shaquille O’Neal is enjoying the game from his cushy TNT booth. It’s also at a vantage point over Charles Barkley, who is doing the play-by-play at the game with Draymond Green and Taylor Rooks. Not one to let Chuck work in peace, Shaq resorted to throwing trash at his hardworking friends, including Mike Epps and Rooks.

That’s Shaq messing with you, Mike,” Rooks pointed out. Barkley supplied a minor correction that it’s “Idiot Shaq.” Epps hilariously called out the giant prankster on the mic, “Shaq, you gonna be a bad big little boy your whole life.” Once again, Chuck corrected them, “Don’t forget the thing, you left out the ‘ugly’ part.”

Fans are amazed that Barkley is able to power through at all with Shaq directly above his head. Some may have been betting that the 7’1″ giant will attempt to pour a beer on Barkley just for laughs. That didn’t happen, though.

The Chuckster has had a hectic week. After kicking off the All-Star weekend from Inside the NBA on Thursday, he had a few media appearances before the All-Star game which ended with the Giannis Antetokounmpo-led East winning 211-186. He put on the headset for this game alongside Rooks and a changing lineup of third commentators, including Draymond Green and Reggie Miller.

Fans were hoping for more of the Chuck and Shaq banter during the game (though the Chuck vs Dray antics didn’t disappoint). They got some of that when LeBron James sat down with the Inside the NBA panel a day earlier.

Shaquille O’Neal vs Charles Barkley, All-Star MVP edition

Shaquille O’Neal and his former teammate flexed some of their All-Star honors over the 11x All-Star Barkley. 15x All-Star Shaq has won three All-Star MVP titles, tied for second-most with the likes of King James, Oscar Robertson, and Michael Jordan. That’s two more than Barkley.

Anybody else at this table got three?” O’Neal referred to not only Chuck but also Kenny ‘The Jet’ Smith, who never had an All-Star appearance during his career. Barkley tried to defend his singular All-Star MVP honor in 1991, even if O’Neal called him a bum. Whereas Kenny, who probably doesn’t think any achievement is big or small, gloated, “I got three high school MVPs.” You tell ’em, Kenny.

Shaq still got the last laugh, declaring, “Hey kids, I got the same MVPs as Bron Bron.” But Chuck thinks he’s better looking than you, Shaq. In terms of bickering, though, who is the MVP between Shaq and Chuck? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
