One young upstart entrepreneur nearly stepped on one NBA star’s bad side and landed in another’s good graces. Daniel Ubario had only just started his new car dealership when his employee ticked off LeBron James. But that situation brought him on Shaquille O’Neal’s radar. Since then Ubario’s sorted the misunderstanding, he’s got a regular patron in Shaq, business is going upwards, and they have a give and take relationship. In exchange for his great service, the giant autohead has another present for Ubario and Effortless Motors.
The official Effortless Motors displayed the latest vehicle in their collection – a red Cadillac Escalade SUV, likely the 2024 edition from the V series. And it comes straight from the big man’s fleet. “Shaq just sent us his Escalade! Thank you!” the Effortless Motors Story said.
It was followed by another post from The Big Podcast which gives the entire background of this gift. After trading in and buying multiple wheels with Effortless Motors, Shaquille O’Neal finally got Daniel Ubario on his show. They explained the misunderstanding with LeBron James and why Shaq chose to support him.

According to Ubario, he had just launched Effortless Motors when his intern thought tagging Bron would give them traction. It backfired big time with James blasting them publicly. Shaq constantly thanks his once teammate because this incident brought Effortless Motors to his attention. {Note, Adam Lefkoe confirmed the intern was let go after this incident.) Since then, O’Neal has bought eight vehicles from them, including three customized Cyberbeasts, a Mercedes Sprinter van, and Ubario’s own Mercedes. He gave a hefty tip in return for the good service.

While he was at it, Shaq gifted some of his own cars. One was a Dodge Hellcat and another is this Escalade. He told his co-host that he doesn’t like his cars lying around the driveway unused and decided to let Ubario have one of them.
O’Neal claimed on his podcast that he didn’t even like the Tesla that much but when Ubario personally delivered his first Tesla Cyberbeast to him in Los Angeles, “Now that he did that for me, I gave him one of my Hellcats ‘cuz he went out of his way to take care of me.” From that first Cybertruck, O’Neal has continued to support Ubario this past year.
Shaq put Effortless Motors on the map
Between the first two Cybertrucks, Shaquille O’Neal claimed in an interview he didn’t need to buy more cars, Yet, he’s traded cars with Effortless Motors over and over. His second Cyberbeast broke the Internet when he bought it off a Facetime with Ubario. He’d tag or give a shoutout to LeBron each time and effortlessly make Effortless Motors shine.

Ubario would give O’Neal a few grand off on every purchase but that’s not important to Big Diesel. “That’s the type of person I am. I see a kid who’s just starting his business, I support them,” he said on the podcast. Shaq was grateful to the dealership for accomodating his whims, but Ubario also thanked him saying, “it’s been a blessing in my life you know ever since he came in.”
Recently, Effortless Motors gifted Shaq his third Cyberbeast with a custom wide body kit. But on the podcast, the 4x champion refused to take anything for free and instead, “just be my friend,” and he’s willing to pay a fair price for anything.
Shaq is going to patronize Effortless Motors for a long time and Ubario is going to fulfil his dream of the ‘carboat’ soon. We can’t wait to see what that looks like.
