Shaquille O’Neal doesn’t back down from providing hilarious content. His music career is also very well documented. Recently he performed EDM in Kansas City at the Big 12 conference, for 45 minutes as DJ Diesel.

At midnight Shaq shocked his fans and left them in splits by posting about signing a song on Instagram. Ossama – Talking to the Moon is the song Shaq sang. The lyrics of the song are “talking to the moon, trying to get to you.” And the internet found it funny. But what was funnier was his daughter’s comment that echoed the fan’s reaction. Taahirah O’Neal wrote “Go to Bed” alongside a laughing emoji.

Taahirah is the eldest daughter of Shaquille O’Neal. She grew up with her mother Arnetta Yardbourgh, Shaq’s girlfriend. She shares a great bond with her father, and sometimes helps him with PR activities.

A closer look at Shaquille O’Neal’s family

Shaq is a proud father of 6 children. He married Shaunie Nelson in 2002 and the couple has 4 children. Myles is the stepson of Shaq, and he took over O’Neal surname later. Even he has a love for DJing, and helps Shaq too. DJ Diesel has also admitted that he and Myles trade songs and always practice together.

Shareef is 23 years old and is playing his hand at basketball. He was ranked #1 in California during his freshman season. But because of a congenital heart issue, he had open heart surgery at 18 years of age. He has many times said how his father Shaq was his biggest strength, advising him not to pay attention to people who put him down. Amirah and Shaqir, 21 and 20, respectively are pursuing basketball for Texas Southern University.

Me’Arah O’Neal is the youngest in the family, yet she recently made the biggest mark on the basketball community. She is already the most-awaited prospect in the WNBA. Choosing not to represent LSU, a place where Shaq is an alumnus, she chose the University of Florida without any influence from her dad.

Shaq has multiple times said how he adores his daughters more than his sons due to them being more polite. Yet with Shaq’s upbringing in a military family, he knows the importance of earning dues, rather than demanding.
