One of the first things Shaq spent his early millions on was some ice. Big Diesel flashed his expensive tastes with custom jewelry throughout his public life. And he’s passed on his love for shiny stuff to his kids. Shaquille O’Neal is also the guy who told his six kids- “You can’t touch daddy’s cheese until you get two degrees.” Well, his youngest is working on the degree while also getting her bling fix. And her sparkler may be better than anything in Shaq’s jewelry box.

Me’Arah O’Neal is a newly minted college student, prepping for her first season at Florida, and fitting right at home in The Swamp. She made her new Gators status official in a flashy way by heading to the local Florida jewellers, Status Jewels to get herself a few pieces, including one custom ring of an alligator head as a nod to the Gators.

She flexed it on her Instagram with Status Jewels writing, “Had to come right at @statusjewel for my custom GATOR Ring🐊 One of One 💎 #status.”

Meezy was filmed wearing and posing with two necklaces, ear studs, a bracelet, and a ring. The Gators’ tribute on her finger obviously is the eye-catcher. It’s the only one of its kind designed especially for Shaq’s daughter. And it made somebody jealous.

Her brother, Shareef was in the comments with the line, “Lemme hold a dollar big time.” If y’all remember that phrase from Everybody Hates Chris, it translates to a kind way of borrowing money with no intention of returning it or a polite way to steal. So, yes, Shareef sees Me’Arah’s ring and wants to get it or its equivalent.

If he wants it that bad, Meezy did advertise on her page and Stories to ‘tap’ Status Jewels. It’s understandable considering where the O’Neal kids get it from.

Diamonds are the O’Neal’s best friend

One of the famous stories in Shaq-lore was him overspending his massive Lakers paycheck on jewelry and cars. That financial hit didn’t deter his love for diamonds. Apart from those four championship rings, we’ve seen different versions of Shaq’s obsession. Most of them are custom necklaces that say Shaq or DIESEL.

Rick Ross gifted him a spinning MGM necklace the size of Shaq’s hand. But, he’s usually going to the Solomon Brothers in Dallas to shop for diamonds. This store even created custom necklaces for Myles, Shareef, and Shaqir to match their dad. So, don’t know what Shareef’s getting jealous about because Me’Arah’s got a flashy trinket too.

O’Neal’s so in love with jewelry, he launched his line for men under Zale Corp. But, given his strict stance, his kids can’t expect a friend and family discount there.

Not that Meezy needs any. Now, we need the big man and the next big O’Neal to bling out in their matching jewelry and show off.
