Beaming with happiness, Shaunie recently shared her joy over her youngest son, Shaqir’s impressive basketball skills. The proud mother of four took to social media to share an old clip of Shaqir dominating the game as he dunked a ball leaving his opponents eating his dust. While Shaunie is thrilled to see her baby boy work wonders on the court, we can’t help but notice how his skills reminded us of the Los Angeles Lakers legend. In the clip, Shaqir was seen instilling fear in his opponents with a jaw-dropping dunk that echoed O’Neal’s iconic style. How he hung off the rim and landed mirrored the exact way Shaq used to dunk his ball. The businesswoman shared the clip on her IG story and wrote, “Baby boy!!! Shaqiro’neall.”
Shaunie appreciated her daughter Me’Arah on her IG story as well. Both O’Neal and Shaunie emphasized that they never pressured their children into the sport, yet four of their kids exhibited innate athletic prowess.

Shaunie once stated that Me’Arah was born with natural athletic abilities. She explained how the 17-year-old absorbed the game just by observing her brothers. In an interview, she said, “When I first saw Me’Arah dribble a basketball. I actually was kind of shocked because no one taught her. She just watched her brothers. It wasn’t even like she was a little girl that watched basketball on television.” She added, “She has a God-given athletic ability that is just not normal.”
