Shaquille O’Neal is taking upgrades to a whole new level. Just recently, the 4x NBA champion left many awestruck with his latest purchase. He had the famous Lucid Air undergo a massive transformation. While he initially decided not to spend any more money buying another car since he already owns so many, O’Neal ended up buying a little too many last year. He used his $500 million net worth once again to make another purchase.

As per his latest IG post, O’Neal had Koolerkartz upgrade his gas motor to an electric one. It’s a customized one with O’Neal’s name and his jersey number 34 written on top of it. “We switched out @shaq ‘s gas motor to our electric setup powered by @electro_and_co” the post featuring cart read.

Considering his big purchases last year, we wonder if this is the first of several more splurges this year. After his first encounter with Effortless Motors thanks to LeBron James, O’Neal has come across some of the most lavish and best cars that could also fit him.

The connection formed with a mistake. The company had claimed that LeBron James bought a Bugatti from them. The 45.4 inches of leg space in the Lucid Air wasn’t enough for the Los Angeles Lakers legend. Like most of his cars, he had to make it the right size to fit him. For that, he sought the help of Coast Customs. He gave them the job of turning it into a two-door coupe. The company boasts a celebrity customer list that includes Mark Zuckerberg.

For the customization, small details have made major differences. For instance, Superman logos have been placed on the center caps of the wheels. It features the same color as O’Neal’s Rolls-Royce Cullinan. Another difference is on the front grille, where the word ‘Lucid’ has been replaced with ‘Diesel,’ a nod to his DJ stage name. Will he stick to his previous word or a new car is about add the collection.
