Shaquille O’Neal Ready to Bet His Car on Jimmy Butler, Shuts Down Charles Barkley’s Controversial 76ers Claim

With the play-in tournament coming up next week, fans believe this is the time for Jimmy Butler and the Miami Heat to turn the table around. Butler and Co. were in the play-in last season too, and managed to make it to the NBA Finals. This is promising enough for Shaquille O’Neal, so he is rooting for them to win the play-in once again this year. However, Charles Barkley has something else on his mind. Guess the extent to which Shaq is willing to go to prove his TNT buddy wrong. 

Barkley believes the Philadelphia 76ers have a better chance to win the play-in with Joel Embiid joining the lineup back. But Shaq is confident about the Heat. He said, “Don’t ever count out Jimmy Butler and the Heat. It is not gonna happen…You know what the odds are against y’all…It takes one bad game, the season is over.” Barkley was not giving up on the Sixers at the same time. So Shaq decided to cut a deal. 

The Los Angeles Lakers legend took his car keys in his hand and said, “See this. I bet it”. That’s how much Shaq believes in Jimmy Butler. The car is on the line now. There is a good chance that Barkley can take Shaq’s ride home soon.

You might think this is just a casual exchange of words between two friends. It’s definitely not. Shaq lives up to his words.

Shaq and Barkley have gone to crazy extents to get the best of each other. The best one was when Shaq bet on Kevin Love when he was with the Minnesota Timberwolves. Ahead of a game between the T-Wolves and the LA Clippers, Shaq told Barkley that Love would have a better game than Blake Griffin. After a fun heated exchange, Shaq bet that he would wear underwear if Love didn’t outplay Griffin. We all know what happened next!

Love finished the game with just 17 points, while Griffin recorded a 21-point double-double. Shaq said, “I’m a man of my word”, as he got out of the chair with a boxer. With a suit on the top and a boxer in the bottom, Shaq walked around in front of several cameras and also danced for a few seconds. So, do not be surprised if the Big Diesel gives his car away to Barkley. Let’s see if Joel Embiid and Philly can help Barkley get a car.
