The size of the NBA centers has been a huge advantage for them on the court. However, outside the game, the height and weight do not always help. Especially for a 7-foot giant like Shaq, life outside the court hasn’t always been easy. Anyhow, one of America’s finest comedians Tiffany Haddish, has a hilarious service on her mind, in which Shaq can put his humongous body to perfect use. 

In her appearance on British podcaster Jay Shetty’s show, Haddish revealed, “I would like to start a service, where like retired basketball players could hold you like a baby. You can pay them like $300 an hour, and they just hold you like a baby and tell you, ‘It’s going to be alright, it’s going to be okay,’ and pat you on the back and burp you. Well, nobody burps you anymore.” Jay Shetty couldn’t help but laugh at Haddish’s innocence. 

For someone as tall as Haddish (5’6), Shaq would be the perfect guy who can fulfill her desire. So the 44-year-old comedian did not hesitate to ask the Los Angeles Lakers legend. Haddish continued, “I asked Shaq. Shaq said, ‘Girl, you crazy’..” Shetty wanted to know the exact conversation between Shaq and Haddish, so the latter detailed, “I said, ‘Would you hold me like a baby, and like burp me?’ And then he was like, ‘Girl you crazy. You so damn silly.'” 

Haddish also agreed that she mentioned it to a few other players. Sadly, all of them laughed it off, although she was “dead serious” about this request. Also, there might be a reason why Shaq denied this request.

Haddish is 5’6 and around 180 pounds. Although Shaq can do all the heavy lifting, babysitting the comedian will not be an easy job. Haddish made a special appearance on the Inside the NBA roast back in 2020 to mock Charles Barkley, Shaq, Kenny Smith, and Ernie Johnson. After her turn got over, Shaq took the podium and said, “Tiffany Haddish, her a** so fat, when she turned around I was like, ‘Hey Charles[Barkley], how you doing?'” 

Even Haddish couldn’t stop controlling her laughter. So it looks like Shaq had already hinted why he wouldn’t be able to lift her. However, this joke was not a shot at Haddish, but at his TNT co-host Charles Barkley, who was also laughing in denial.
