Big Diesel and everyone else have been waiting for the Power Slap showdown of the century. But Chuck’s not going to let it happen. Charles Barkley caught the action live at Power Slap 6 with host, Nina Marie Daniele. She asked who Barkley would take on as an opponent. He answered who he wouldn’t. Looking at you, Shaquille O’Neal.
“I won’t fight Shaq. Shaq too big,” he admitted to Nina Drama. He’s singing a completely different tune to his provocations on Inside the NBA when the 7’1″ giant and once the most dominant center in the NBA sits opposite him. He’d rather take on the easier opponent Kenny “The Jet” Smith. Because he’s “soft.”

Kenny should take it as a complement given Barkley’s reason to not go up against Shaq. “Shaq is big and ugly and he’s pretty strong.” After that, he implied that the ninth sexiest bald man’s overwhelming strength comes from his appearance. “When you’re big and ugly, you have a different type of power.” Talk about a slap in the face.
Charles Barkley confirmed on Inside the NBA he’s spending the Big Game Weekend with Dana White in Las Vegas. While he refused to participate, the UFC mogul was close to making the Shaq vs Chuck showdown happen.

Back when competitive feelings were intense during the NBA In-Season Tournament, Shaq and Chuck mouthed off TNT. The Round Mound of Rebound was bursting with confidence then. “Dana White going to hook us up with slap fest. Do I get to go first? As long as I get to go first, coz you know you soft. Once I hit you, you gonna drop like a sack of potatoes!” he threatened ‘big and ugly’ Shaq who graciously offered his frenemy the first slap honors.
Dana White is clearly a regular viewer of NBA on TNT because he promptly posted on X, “@shaq vs Charles Barkley. Feb 9th Super Bowl weekend in Las Vegas @powerslap #PowerSlap6 is LIVE & FREE on Rumble @nbaontnt.”

The Big Aristotle was occupied with Shaq’s Fun House during the Big Game Weekend. He also caught up with Taylor Swift. He wasn’t at the Power Slap League event or Barkley would probably not be conceding defeat to the big man.
