Photos of Kevin Hart posing with DiJonai Carrington, Aaliyah Edwards, and Rickea Jackson had fans’ jaws dropped! We know Hart is 5-foot-4, however, every time the actor poses next to NBA or WNBA players, fans gasp at the striking height difference. While the comedian might look shorter next to the 6-foot-2 Jackson, his height has never stopped him from reaching the pinnacle of success with his remarkable work. But that also means he gets trolled now and then, especially by Shaquille O’Neal. Shaq recently revealed just how far he went to tease his friend.
Remember the picture where the 7’1″ O’Neal looked so short next to former NBA player Yao Ming? That image was too hilarious to miss. But another highlight of the picture that went viral was Hart who got seemingly dwarfed not by just one but by two towering players. Upon closer inspection, something seemed off. Many believed it was real, while others doubted whether the photo was genuine.
Years later, O’Neal revealed that he was the one who had photoshopped Hart into the viral picture. His picture with Ming is genuine. “Since I like you, (I) have a confession. The Yao and me part is real. I was the one that photoshopped Kevin in Adobe photoshop,” O’Neal said on 11.1 Questions interview.

The Big Aristotle just needs an excuse to mess with his friend. Even at the NBA All-Star 2025, O’Neal was seen teasing Hart, who turned announcer for the event, by intentionally standing too close to him, pretending not to see him.

O’Neal might have been joking about photoshopping the image. Since the picture of O’Neal and the 7’6″ Ming is genuine, it seems likely that someone did, in fact, photoshop Hart into the picture. Was it really the Big Aristotle, or was he just messing with Hart again? Regardless, the actor has certainly taken his revenge! How?

Kevin Hart’s sweet revenge on tall Shaquille O’Neal and Kevin Durant
The actor is always seen hanging out with his NBA friends, Carmelo Anthony and O’Neal. The tall players often tease Hart by leaning down to talk to him or, as the instance mentioned above. However, Hart knows how to take a dig at his tall friend. And that too in the most hilarious fashion.
During one of their get-togethers, he took pictures with both Durant and O’Neal. The first snap was Hart with the 6’11” tall Phoenix Suns star. But here’s the thing, Durant’s head was cut off from the shoulders up as he couldn’t fit in the frame. The focus of the photo was Hart.

Have an interesting take?
Not to forget, Durant was caught trolling Hart’s height during the 2025 NBA All-Star Game. Comparing his height to Shaq’s, he joked while chatting with James Harden, asking, “Bro, why is he (Hart) that small, dog?” Harden had a hilarious response, saying he “just stopped.” Hart might have seen it coming and good thing that he took his revenge on his tall friend beforehand.
“Always good catching up with my brothers …. Love running into my guys!!!!! Great stories and great laughs!!!!! P.S This is how I take photos with all of my tall friends…. It is what it is,” Hart captioned the photos. Next slide of the post was of the Los Angeles Lakers legend O’Neal, whose face also got snubbed from the picture!
