You can talk about his game, you can talk about his analysis, you can talk about his odd Bol Bol agenda. But do not come after Shaq’s spiffy style. As if being 7’1″ wasn’t enough, Shaquille O’Neal stood out on the TNT panel in a dashing suit. That became a hot topic on social media even while Tyrese Maxey was out dropping 51 points and All-Stars were being minted.

Hotter than the debate about whether the suit looked good or not, was the discussion on what that color is. Everything from turquoise, spearmint, and dolphin aqua, to good ol’ blue (definitely not) was thrown out. Until Pantone releases an official statement, we’re thriving on the jokes.

So was TNT. Before heading into the commercial, they showed a social media comment that compared Shaq to a Dixie Cup (one of those fancy disposable paper cups, not the ’60s girl group who also wore similar suits). Charles Barkley, Ernie Johnson, and Kenny “The Jet” Smith found it hilarious. Dapper Shaq decidedly did not. He came after the commenter with a sassy, Ask yo mama if she needs water.” You know, in a Dixie Cup.

The Inside Crew loved this ‘oh snap’ moment even more. Kenny even fueled it. “We back on the Mama jokes. You come at us, we comin’ at yo mama.” Kenny’s not wrong. Shaq will go there.

Beware of Trash-talker Shaquille O’Neal

While he’s no Kevin Garnett when it comes to trash-talking, he’s not the Michael Jordan type to ignore it. He goes for yo’ mama’s jugular, the way he did for Spice Adams on The Big Podcast in 2022. In a series of yo mama back and forth, Shaq dropped this game-ender. “Your mom is so fat and dumb that she brought a spoon to the Super Bowl.”

That wasn’t even the only instance. When an Inside the NBA viewer commented on his glasses being too big for his head, he clapped back, “That’s because your mother picked them up this morning. And tell her breakfast was awesome.

Another time, an Internet user took a jab at Shaq’s terrible free throw record. Big Diesel tweeted in response, “Free throws didn’t stop me in the finals ask your momma I left her tickets.” Well, Shaq is not someone to be messed with and his latest reply to a fan’s tweet shows why.
