That Bol Bol mania hit Shaq hard. He’s already gone viral today for resorting to a questionable cereal combination. Now he’s suffering the consequences of it. Because it’s Shaquille O’Neal, his 34 million Instagram followers have to cringe along with him. At halftime, if you find Shaq getting handsy with Charles Barkley, you’ll know why.

He disgusted his co-hosts at Inside the NBA and whoever is watching by downing cereal with hot tea just to make that Bol-Bowl pun. As the Inside Guys warned him, Shaq regretted that. “i don’t kno why i did that, wooweeee,” he wrote on Instagram along with a Reel of himself bulldozing past TNT staff on the way to the bathroom.

The farting and bathroom sounds are a bonus we could’ve lived without. But the video cuts off at a crucial moment. So it took one fan to ask the important question, “You even wash your hands?” Shaq, not the least bit guilty, answered, “nope.”

O’Neal’s belief in Bol Bol is legendary. He’s made an enemy out of almost everyone by hyping him when he didn’t have any minutes this season. Today, he made the most of the minutes against the Celtics. After he added 10 points and 3 rebounds in just 8 minutes, Shaq was so ready for the Bol Bol highlight of the day. His stomach and ours were not.

Shaquille O’Neal has some regrets

During the halftime report, Shaq brought out a bowl and cereal because “we’re gonna talk about my boy, Bol Bol.” Barkley was mildly jealous his bowl was empty and snackless but he’s probably glad now.

It took Chuck, Ernie, and Kenny some time to catch on to the pun. A frustrated Shaq barked, “Cereal goes into what, dummy? A bowl. Bol Bol.” Kenny said he should’ve got two bowls but they noted he even forgot milk. He did it the way they did “back in the day” and poured the hot tea in his cup into the bowl. The cringe in the studio and on NBA social media was loud. A few expressed their fear of shaking Shaq’s hand.

He shared the same video on X with the caption, “I regret everything.” Perhaps Bol Bol caught wind of that and took mercy on Shaq and us. He went scoreless in the second half, giving Shaq no chance to continue the risky maneuvers. Maybe Bol Bol’s biggest fan will be prepared with milk next time.
