No matter the field of work, it seems Shaquille O’Neal has got his children’s back. It is worth mentioning that Shaq’s eldest son, Myles O’Neal, is a DJ by profession and has earned quite a name and success for himself. So much so that his net worth is already over $5 million at 27. The most recent acknowledgment of his DJing career as Shaq family cheered came with ‘Beatport’ celebrating its 20 years of successful run. Notably, Beatport is an electronic music-oriented online music store that was founded in 2004.

The official Instagram account of ‘Beatport’ shared a dedicated highlight video of sorts for Myles O’Neal. “Meet Myles O’Neal, a trailblazer in blending the worlds of fashion and music. From commanding the decks at Wynn Las Vegas to electrifying crowds across Europe, Myles’ fusion of tech-house, R&B, and rap epitomizes the vibrant, unstoppable spirit of music…” read the caption to the post. And Shaquille O’Neal was quick enough to extend his support as he commented, “There he is,” on the IG post.

Apart from this, Shaquille O’Neal’s youngest child, Me’arah, also showed love for his brother with a “so inspirational” comment on the post. Meanwhile, Shaqir O’Neal also did not miss the opportunity to support his elder brother. “big bro$!! 👏🔥😢😍,” read his comment. It is worth mentioning that this “artist spotlight” for Myles came as part of Beatport’s BPXX anniversary! Popular by the name of DJ Diesel, Shaq has already got four studio albums to his name. In fact, the first album by the 4x NBA champ named Shaq Diesel came in 1993, even before Myles was born; which also peaked at 25 on the Billboard 200. So it is evident that he has had an age-old love for music which led him to the extent of collaborating with King of Pop, Michal Jackson, himself. So the chances of him inculcating this passion for music for his children were obviously quite high. And the on the receiving end eventually turned out to be his eldest son, which even Myles admitted once.

In an interview with IEDM, the 27-year-old had mentioned how he developed a love for the world of music at an early age because of his father. “Growing up, there was a lot of different music playing in my house. My dad had a huge impact on my taste in music. I’m a big fan of rap and hip-hop culture, which is solely based on his love for hip-hop and how much he would make us listen to Biggy, 2Pac, Enimen, Scarface, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg and A Tribe Called Quest,” he said back then. And considering his present growth, it seems things worked out for the best for Myles O’Neal.
