What’s the best part about Shaq-A-Licious XL Gummies? They are “brought to you by the biggest kid in the candy store.” 7’1″ NBA legend and self-proclaimed ‘Big Kid’ Shaquille O’Neal officially launched his new product with Hershey’s in a grand Times Square spectacle. The extra large gummies in the shape of Shaq’s face are the manifestation of the muse’s larger-than-life personality. From all ‘bite my head off’ jokes to the fun themes, Shaq is keeping his new venture on theme.
Entertainment Tonight caught up with O’Neal at the launch party next to a giant gummy cake shaped in Shaq’s head. They asked where he brings the ‘Big Kid’ energy from. He claims he’s a natural.
“I was the class clown and I always get in trouble. So now I get paid to get in trouble,” he told ET Online and ended with that evil Halloween laugh that’s gone viral a few times.
Before he was a 7-foot NBA star, O’Neal was literally a big kid, taller than his peers with an intimidating persona to boot. He has a funky sense of humor that confirms his ‘class clown’ personality. In the past though, he admitted he developed the funny bone young to get along with his peers.
