Shaquille O’Neal‘s six children have most of his traits and it came out in full display when his youngest daughter Me’Arah moved to Florida for college. The 18-year-old is all set to kick start a new chapter of life, and she needed a helping hand to set up her dorm in college, which was filled in for by her mother and Shaq’s ex-wife, Shaunie Henderson. The 49-year-old shared a few emotional scenes of leaving Me’Arah in college, only to be met with jokes by Shaq’s sons Shareef and Myles. Typical Shaq behavior!

In a video shared by Shaunie on Instagram, she was seen making Me’Arah’s bed, building a mini table, and also helping her move her things inside. An experience that she described as being “great from start to finish”. This is where Myles and Shareef went on to display their hilarious side.

Myles mocked the two by commenting under the post, @shareefoneal we would of moved that stuff in 6-8 minutes, easily,” to which his brother Shareef replied, On god.” Shaunie put in a lot of work to help Me’Arah, as evident in the below. However, it looks like she might not have put the same energy when Shareef moved into his college.

A jealous and disappointed Shareef hilariously commented, You ain’t make my bed when I moved for college. The brothers took this chance to joke about their mother. However, back in 2020, when she dropped Shareef to College amidst a global pandemic, she had been stressed for weeks so much so that she made a post on Instagram to seek advice from fellow parents who recently dropped their kids to College.

Despite her brothers poking fun at their mother in the comment section, Me’Arah was appreciative of Shaunie for helping her with everything. She commented, Love you momma“, and couldn’t control her tears when Shaunie left.

Shaunie and Me’Arah share an emotional mom-daughter moment at college

Dropping her kids at college is not new for Shaunie. However, this was the last time she was going to do it. The youngest of all, Me’Arah, seemed to share a closer bond with the Basketball Wives producer. Although the 49-year-old revealed that she will not cry when she leaves her daughter at college, the emotions got the best of her. After a tiring day of shifting things, Shaunie gave a long hug to Me’Arah

Before they started with the move-in, Shaunie shared,This experience has been the first that I feel comfortable and I don’t think I’m going to cry when I drive away.” Well, the camera cuts to Shaunie and her daughter crying. Guess that’s how parenting works!

Shaunie wrote in the captions, I definitely cried and I’m not sure when I’ll stop. I don’t want to talk about it.” However now, it’s time to focus on Me’Arah’s next big step in basketball. The 18-year-old is determined to make a name for herself against her father’s popularity and seems to be on the right path after being selected for McDonald’s All America this April.

Me’Arah will be joining Kylee Kitts, Liv McGill, and Aliyah Matharu among others in the new class. The 18-year-old is confident about the move and looks to find the success, the visit to the university once conveyed.
