I went on the Florida visit, and I had a feeling that’s where I belonged, and that I was going to be most successful if I went to go play at Florida.” Me’Arah O’Neal in a conversation with ESPN detailed why she chose the Gators over her father’s alum LSU. The first season seems to be a mixed bag for the Freshman guard, but she is building her brand off the court. One of her biggest supporters in this journey? Her older brother, Myles O’Neal, who is following in their father’s footsteps musically.

Myles isn’t just cheering from the sidelines, he’s actively promoting his sister’s brand. He posted an Instagram story, “Mountain Ready @mearahoneal.” For his skiing adventure, DJ Myles wore Me’Arah’s NIL Exclusive release ‘Meezy “8” Jersey’. It’s a throwback 90’s football jerseys look which is part of the Florida NIL store. The jersey, a mix of black and gray tones, prominently features her number 8 on the front, back, and sleeves. The exclusive threads on the website cost $84.99. Seeing her elder brother repping her jersey, the youngest member of the O’Neal family had only a one-word reply.

She added, “TUFFFFFFF.” Her story was re-shared by the Florida NIL store with probably a hint. They added “STAY TUNED 👀” and tagged the Gators’ star. Which might be a hint of her next drop with the NIL store. But it’s not the only time Myles O’Neal has supported her sister during off-the-court activities.

A few months ago, the DJ worth $5 million, shared another glimpse of his outfits with his Instagram followers. That day too, he wore one of her sister’s NIL t-shirts. The t-shirt had a miniature art of Me’Arah in her Florida Gators jersey and a basketball in her hand. On the side, it read, “Meezy, Me’Arah O’Neal.” On the website, the Florida Meezy Gray Tee is available for $44.99.

While her brand is gaining traction off the court, her journey on it has been filled with challenges and learning moments. As she continues to develop her game, Me’Arah has leaned on the lessons instilled by her father, Shaquille O’Neal

Looking back at Myles O’Neal’s sister’s journey with the Gators

“My dad always tells me that pressure makes diamonds. I always try to keep that with me, especially in those moments where everyone is watching. I’m just trying to do me and make myself proud.” The 18-year-old previously stated about the mentality lessons that she learned from her father. Earlier this season she dropped 19 points against Arkansas Razorbacks. But scoring in double digits has been a milestone the 18-year-old is yet to accomplish at college level. Mainly because she has only started in 8 of the 24 games.

Me’Arah’s season has been a mix of highs and learning moments, but against the Razorbacks, she delivered a breakout performance. She dropped a career-high 19 points and had 4 rebounds. The 6’4″ guard had an impressive performance shooting a scorching 85.7% from the field, 80% from beyond the arc, and remaining flawless from the charity strip at 100% FT.
