DJ Diesel is back with a music festival bigger than ever. After his retirement, music has remained a central part of the NBA legend’s life. And Shaquille O’Neal keeps the beat alive with every chance he gets. With his foot in EDM and more musical realms, O’Neal has become a household name in the industry. He has given some of the best events such as Shaq’s Fun House and Shaq’s Bass All-Stars Festival in Texas last year. While the future of Inside the NBA remains uncertain, he made the biggest announcement of this year.
With a passion for EDM in his heart, the Big Aristotle has announced the arrival of Shaq’s Bass All-Stars Festival in Texas. O’Neal is over the moon as he announced it on his X.

Soon, after the first edition of the music festival, O’Neal asked his fans to suggest an ideal spot for the second edition. However, the bass music night will be held in the same location at the Panther Island Pavilion in Fort Worth on November 16. The Lakers legend seems to have a special fondness for Texas. The Texas resident is either drawn towards the cheerful and energetic crowd or just particularly partial to the vibe Texas offers.
Some of the greatest performances, all hand-selected by the NBA legend, can be seen in the festival. DJ Diesel will, of course, perform at the festival. He’s passionate about DJing. “When I DJ, it gives me the same adrenaline rush as a playoff championship game. That’s why I do it,” O’Neal once said.
This year’s event, hosted in association with Disco Events and Medium Rare, promises an even more impressive roster. To sway you to the beats, the lineup has PEEKABOO, Space Laces, Dirt Monkey, and more.
Two massive stages have been prepared for around 16 artists including Kozmoz, Celo, Muerte, Stoned Level, Perry Wayne, Space Wizard, Grabbitz, Sora, and Rated R. The Tickets will go on sale on August 16 at 10 a.m. CST.

“Get ready for year two of the largest bass festival in Texas, featuring 2 stages and 16 of my favorite bass and dubstep acts—all handpicked by me!” O’Neal wrote on X. General admission tickets will be priced at $59.99, but they will be available only two hours later. VIP tickets will be available for $159.99 and include top-notch perks like gourmet food and access to Shaquille O’Neal’s VIP Courtyard. But, what was its first edition like?
The 2023 Shaq’s Bass All-Stars Festival was a huge success
Well, the last event saw a gathering of around 15,000 fans, far surpassing its estimated number. With many having anticipated the event for months, it’s likely that the next one will attract an even bigger crowd. Sullivan King, Alison Wonderland, Crankdat, Kai Wachi, and more were among the featured artists last year. “My first ever music festival and we sell it out…over 15,000 people strong. Texas thank u, we will run it back…Couldn’t have done it without y’all,” O’Neal wrote as he shared a clip from the event.
The Los Angeles Lakers legend was recently spotted performing alongside his stepson Myles O’Neal at Tomorrowland. This was the first father-son debut at the festival. “We’ve got some special news. We’re debuting our duo, father-son duo, first father-son duo in the space, O’Neal Boyz,” Myles said on his IG handle.
