Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade are one of the biggest power couples in the NBA today. First meeting each other in 2007, the couple had a turbulent start to their relationship. This led to the two breaking up in 2013 but they quickly reconciled before marrying in 2014. In November of 2018 the couple welcomed their first child and haven’t looked back since.

When not splitting their paychecks 50-50 the couple can be seen spending quality time with their children. Although the two only share one child, Dwyane Wade’s previous relationships have given him three kids – giving the couple enough to worry about. The pair’s youngest Kavya was recently highlighted on social media, just days after she threatened her mom.

Born on November 7th, 2018, Kaavia James Union Wade has garnered quite a following despite her young age. Boasting over 1.9 million followers on Instagram, the young Wade loves appearing in front of lenses often making cameos alongside her family.

During one such appearance the 5-year-old seemingly threatened to replace her mother, leaving Gabrielle Union stunned in shock. Quite the Mother’s Day gift for the 50-year-old actress, Kaavia then stated, “If you’re gonna, like, do this today, then I’m getting a different mom.”

Mustering up her courage after her daughter’s blatant threat, Union asked her, “Wait, if I don’t change my mind, you’re going to get a different mom?” To this Kavya gave the camera a mean look and replied, “Stay here. You still can be like a princess, but you need to be like me.”

This hilarious interaction between the two took place during a hairdressing session, as Kaavia was combing Union’s hair, according to sheknows.com.

In a more recent post on Kaavia’s Instagram, mom Gabrielle Union could be seen asking her daughter for a “wiggle” as she sang the phrase to a tune. The owner of ‘Shady Baby Shop’ finally paid heed to her mother’s words as she gave her a slight wiggle.

Dropping three teary-eyed emojis for her daughter Union was seemingly overwhelmed by emotions. She was not alone in feeling that as one fan stated, “Thank you for sharing her with us. Seeing her grow up is such a blessing to be able to watch.”

There were fans of Kaavia as well with one fan commenting, “I miss her being a shady baby,” while another stated, “We all remember Shady Baby!” One fan in particular was an admirer of her fashion sense as she stated, “That shirt is prophetic! #bossbaby.”
