ESPN’s docuseries, “The Last Dance,” featuring legends like Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen, was a global sensation. It succeeded in captivating audiences during the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic. However, not everyone shared the enthusiasm. In his memoir, “Unguarded,” 6x champion Scottie Pippen expressed his discontent with the documentary.
However, recently, the Bulls champ seems to have a different opinion about the docuseries. In his latest interview, the 6x champion was asked about his opinion on it. In response, the legend shared, “I thought it was a special moment for us to really relive some of the greatest times in basketball history.” He further added, “I think during the pandemic everyone sitting home it was more like an educational tour… we were able to win six titles um over a decade and that’s pretty high accomplishment.”
The Bulls champ seemed to praise the series as well as what was shown. This statement is quite contradictory to what Pippen had previously mentioned in his book. In his book, he mentioned how wasn’t impressed by how he was portrayed on the show.
