One more top program is eager to add an NBA legacy to their team. Scottie Pippen‘s youngest son, Justin has a new college to consider among the many offers he’s fielding. The Sierra Canyon standout who plays alongside LeBron James‘ son, can pick from Stanford, UC Santa Barbara, Texas A&M, and the latest, Xavier, soon.

After finding out the Xavier University Musketeers are keen on him, Justin Pippen took to his social media with gratitude. “Blessed to receive an offer from Xavier.” He is yet to commit to a school but analysts tout that Scottie and Larsa Pippen’s youngest son, “has made a HUGE jump this season,” as a 3-star in the 2024 class.

While Larsa remains in Miami with Marcus Jordan (aka the son of Scottie’s ex-teammate, Michael Jordan), her youngest kids have moved to California to be closer to their dad. Larsa stated she and Scottie have an amicable co-parenting relationship while Justin and Sophia split time between them. During her recent appearance on the Two Ts in a Pod podcast, Larsa confirmed she’s been going to all the college tours with Justin.

Analysts have been observing Justin all year. And most are noticing that the Pippens have a pattern.

Justin Pippen follows his father’s path

Scottie Pippen didn’t draw national attention until he was playing at Central Arkansas in the NAIA. He graduated with all-conference honors in his senior high school year but no scholarship offers. His other son with Larsa, Scotty Jr. also had a late spurt at Vanderbilt before he ended up in the NBA. Justin has been looking at his father and brother for guidance as he’s been on an identical path.

Since coming off the bench, the 19-year-old has emerged as a leading scorer and all-rounder for his team. Justin Pippen went from unranked to the 60th spot on 247 Sports’ 2024 Top 150 Basketball Rankings in January. He had unofficial campus visits and said he was in talks with LSU, UCSB, Sacramento and others. In January, the teenager also tried out the Aggies jersey during a visit.

So far, Justin Pippen has not committed to a school or hinted if he’s leaning towards one more. He’s laser-focused on his high school season for now. We’d have to keep a keep a keen eye on what’s in store for Larsa and Scottie’s son in the near future.
