Now, it looks like six-year-old Kaavia is following the same path of excellence, but this time, on stage.

Earlier this year, Kaavia had a big moment where she performed ahead of the LA Rams vs. Seattle Seahawks game. She, along with other young dancers, entertained the crowd at SoFi Stadium, and her parents couldn’t have been prouder. Gabrielle Union captured the moment, sharing a clip of her daughter’s performance. Meanwhile, Wade hyped up the experience on his Instagram story. But behind the scenes, things weren’t always smooth.

Recently, in an interview, Gabrielle Union revealed that preparing for the performance came with its own set of challenges. “She was asked as a part of a number of different dance companies throughout Southern California to be a part of this show,” she explained. Initially, they assumed there would be in-person dance classes, but that wasn’t the case. “No, not at all. They sent us with a video to learn this two-plus-minute routine,” she said, emphasizing how lengthy it was for someone as young as Kaavia.

With limited time and no formal classes, Kaavia struggled to pick up the moves. This led to Wade suggesting they pull her from the performance. But Union had a different perspective. “This is a part of learning,” she insisted. Wade eventually embraced the challenge, stepping in as Kaavia’s personal coach. “He had this child watching that dang video,” Union recalled, laughing. When Kaavia finally took the stage, her father couldn’t contain his excitement. “He does know every move,” Union admitted, revealing that he was dancing along with her from the sidelines.

Kaavia’s love for performing is evident, and with parents like Wade and Union cheering her on, there’s no telling how far she’ll go.

Kaavia has been hard at work selling Girl Scout cookies, with her parents, Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade, proudly supporting her. From setting up stands to making home deliveries, the six-year-old has embraced the hustle.

As the final sales day approached, her aunt, Tracy Union, asked for a last-minute pitch. “Go quickly today! Today is the only day you can do it!” Kaavia confidently said, though she got the date wrong. Tracy corrected her, and Kaavia made another plea: “Buy more cookies now, former Girl Scout.” With encouragement, she added, “Please, and thank you.”

Moreover, Kaavia didn’t leave the opportunity to earn money even when her own parents tried to buy boxes of cookies! She even explained inflation to her dad when he questioned the price hike. In a social media post, she shared, “We came, we saw, and added tax 🤭 #scoutshonor 🙋🏾‍♀️.”

Her parents have been her biggest cheerleaders. Wade visited her stand, saying, “Hey, Girl Scout cookies, got to make sure we got and we support little kids.” A playful moment followed when Union refused to return the boxes he handed her. With determination and family support, Kaavia is already showing signs of a future business mogul in the making.
