In his book, ?I May Be Wrong But I Doubt It,’ Barkley recalled a conversation he had with Robert Horry. Horry was called Big Shot Rob for his impressive clutchness. But when asked about how he maintains his composure, the 7-time NBA Champion pointed, remarkably to Shaquille O’Neal and Kobe Bryant.

“One reason he’s able to be so calm about taking those shots is that if he misses and his team loses, Shaq and Kobe are going to receive all the blame anyway, so why worry about it,”?wrote Barkley in his book.

Sir Charles tried to explain how Bryant as a player not only led the Lakers to victory but also influenced his teammates.
