Jeanie Marie Buss is the owner of the Los Angeles Lakers. The Buss family has been the owner of the team since decades now. Fans of the HBO show know how Jeanie started when her father Dr. Jerry Buss initially purchased the franchise. The Buss family recently had reason to celebrate as the $500 million worth Jeanie got hitched to the famous comedian/actor Jay Mohr.
The function was a chic Malibu wedding which took place on a beach. Magic Johnson made sure to wish Jeanie digitally if not in person.

Mohr has appeared in several famous movies like Jerry Maguire and shows like Saturday Night Live and Ghost Whisperer. Jeanie Buss was previously with 11-time NBA Champion Phil Jackson for over a decade.

Jeanie Buss took over the owner the Los Angeles Lakers in the year 2013 and won her maiden NBA Championship in 2020 with LeBron leading the charge. Quite recently, the 61-year-old partnered with Michael Jordan for a major business venture.

After retiring from the league, His Airness took an entrepreneurial path. Recently he partnered with Lakers owner Jeanie Buss to start their very own tequila brand Cincoro Gold.
Buss and Jordan are not the only two NBA owners in the partnership. It was reported that several other team owners Celtics’ Wyc Grousbeck and Milwaukee Bucks’ Wes Edens were also involved.
