Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan has accumulated a vast amount of fame by devoting 16 years of his life to the NBA. The fame has allowed him to be one of the most marketed sports figures in history. From brands like Coca-Cola and McDonald?s to Rayovac and Wheaties, Jordan has been the face of various companies at a certain point in time.
His partnership with one multinational corporation, however, still continues to go strong. A former Celtics star recently came across a product by the same corporation that bore the name of ‘His Airness’ as well as that of American rapper Eminem.

The official Instagram handle of Kevin Garnett?s podcast, KG Certified, recently uploaded a post. It featured the former Celtics player paying a visit to ?Showroom LA?, a high-end shoe store located in California, and exploring the various things that they had on display.
Describing himself as a ?fashion fiend?, the former Boston Celtics player went on to describe how all the stuff available was not only of his size, but also in different varieties. After exploring the ?Nike Dunk Cactus Plant Flea Market?, a shoe embedded with Swarovski crystals, the store founder Matt Benson introduced the former player to the ?Jordan 4 Eminem Carhartt?.
Benson described them as the ?rarest, hardest to find item? in their entire collection. While they are known as Eminem 4?s, Nike?s collaboration with Carhartt resulted in the shoes being made in a unique manner as compared to the others.

?All the ballplayers want to be rappers, all the rappers want to be NBA Players,? said Matt Benson during the concluding part of the clip. ?It goes hand in hand. So that?s where fashion comes in.?
Launching back in 2015, the first pair of ?Eminem x Carhartt x Air Jordan? sneakers were a mere 10 in number. They were sold only as part of an eBay auction. While one of them sold for a whopping $30,100, the second pair didn?t falter that far behind and was sold at a price of $25,900. The shoes had such a high demand, the lowest price at which a pair was sold was $18,750.
If there is someone who is set to go crazy over a set of sneakers like these, it?s Garnett himself. Highlighting his appreciation of Eminem?s music on his Instagram story and suggesting that NBA players should engage in a rap battle, the 2008 NBA Champion?s love of rap music is a well-known fact amongst his followers.
