Gilbert Arenas got lucky: Just as Michael Jordan retired from the NBA for a third time, Arenas was traded to the Washington Wizards, where Jordan played his last game. This allowed Arenas to steal some of Jordan’s game-worn jerseys and personal items. One of which Gilbert Arenas decided to use while playing in the NBA.

NBA players wear orthotics inside their shoes while playing in order to prevent injuries and stabilize their feet. However, since they were used by the Chicago Bulls legend, Arenas decided to not even wash them before using them himself.

Having been in the NBA and knowing how disgusting it is to use someone else’s orthotics, Kenyon Martin was in shock after hearing this. But his co-host, Josiah Johnson, had to ask one thing: “You Raw-Dogged MJ’s Orthotics?“

“It was MJ’s,” said Arenas, to defend why he wore them without washing them. Then Arenas further added, “3x All-Star, 3x All-NBA. Like Mike,” to demonstrate that his game improved because of it.

Despite his fellow co-hosts losing their minds trying to contemplate everything they were hearing, Arenas decided to take it up a notch by bringing out his collection of Michael Jordan-worn jerseys and shorts, which haven’t been washed in the past 20 years.

Arenas has some framed and some still in the bag, but most importantly, they are still in the original condition in which he got them. Although Gilbert Arenas disgusted everyone by telling this story, Arenas sadly lost the orthotics that he cared for so much.

Arenas revealed that he once gave his shoes to some fans after a game. While he was looking to wear his shoes the next day, that’s when he remembered that he had accidentally left the orthotics inside the shoes that he gave to the fans.
