In his latest episode of The D.A. show, McCants made a bold claim taking listeners and other sports stars by surprise. He noted how the Los Angeles Lakers star surpassed the Chicago Bulls legend. Speaking about how many might disagree with him, McCants explained, “A guy (Kobe Bryant) surpassed Michael.” He explained, “Kobe Bryant is just one of the guys that I think they’re the best to ever do it and LeBron has a long way to go.“
Rashad’s latest claims have sparked new conversations. That is when Arenas shared his stance on McCants’ comments and explained that McCants’ argument isn’t logically correct. Sharing his opinion on the player’s statements, he said, “I’m glad you think McCants was tearing my a** up because emotional people I think logic just goes out the window when their emotions involved and it’s their feelings right.” He added, “I should have known this was gonna be some bulls**t cause in reality… if he has Kobe over Michael then yeah this was a pointless argument.”
This is not the first time he has had a controversial opinion. Rashad McCants recently thrust himself into the spotlight by criticizing Stephen A. Smith for his comment on Bryant.

Stephen A.Smith’s argument with Rashad McCants
McCants expressed his discontent with Smith’s opinion on Bryant’s legacy. Furthermore, he also stated how the ESPN employee previously never had the same drive to diminish the 5x champion’s career when he was alive. Smith previously claimed that Bryant wasn’t the greatest Lakers star. Furthermore, he stated that Lakers star LeBron James comes before Bryant.
The NBA analyst didn’t shy away from the confrontation. In response to McCants’ message, he clapped back with his perspective and said, “I have never, nor will I ever diminish the Black Mamba. Number two, I didn’t have the energy when he was here? Kobe was a friend of mine. I told Kobe to his face when he was alive.”
