Saying the sneaker market collection is huge would be an understatement. As per Piper Sandler, the secondary sneaker market was worth $10 billion in 2020. Cowen reports further project that the resale market could reach $30 billion by 2030. If you are Shaquille O’Neal’s son, chances are you will have one of the impressive collections. Since Shaq is also the President of Basketball Operations at Reebok, the collection becomes even better. But his son has impressive shoes featuring Nike in his locker.

Recently on his Instagram, Shareef O’Neal added a photo of his probable shoe collectibles. It also featured the famous sneakers of Shaquille O’Neal’s former running mate, Kobe Bryant. But the one that caught the eye was the Nike Air Force 1 Low, an homage to the late Craig Sager. Who was one of the most famous NBA reporters? In partnership with the Sager Strong Foundation, the auction was limited to 100 pairs in 2016.

Notably, each shoe featured a different paisley pattern and a mismatched coloring. An ode to the style of the acclaimed reporter. Apart from these sneakers, the Kobe 8 Protro ‘What the’ edition was also part of his collection. And in the summer of 2025, the shoe will be getting a re-release. Another shoe in the collection was from another of Shaquille O’Neal’s favorite athletes. In fact, Shaq has maintained that Michael Jordan is his all-time GOAT. So, it was obvious that Shareef had Air Jordan 12 in his collection.

Nike X Off-White The 10: Blazer Mid “Grim Reaper” which currently is available for over $500, in secondary market places. It was alongside other shoes. Not to forget, the 25-year-old also had Nike’s Rubber Dunk x Off-White Green Strike, which is also sold out on the official handle. But one shouldn’t be surprised to see such a collection from Shareef, since The Big Aristotle is a fan of his son’s eye for fashion.

The former G-League star wanted to restart his hooping career. For that, he wanted to be away from the limelight and chose ‘Down Under’ as a possible destination. But Shaq was against the idea of Shareef traveling to Australia and presented another opportunity for his son.

He’s like, ‘Can you do me a favor this year? Can you help me rebrand Reebok? I’ll let you help redesign the shoes… redesign the clothes and help sign players. I really need your help.'” In his interview with ClutchPoints, Shareef also highlighted that the Netflix documentary is in the works with Reebok, which will highlight the company’s rebranding process.
