The Juice WRLD Day 2024 concert in Chicago was a night to remember. Fans gathered to honor what would have been Juice WRLD’s 26th birthday, celebrating his legacy with an incredible lineup of hip-hop talent. But the moment that stole the show? Rapper Dave Blunts took the stage with an oxygen tank in a raw, emotional tribute to the late rapper. Not only that, Blunts also called out Snoop Dogg for trolling him. And it was not elusive to Snoop’s long-time friend Shaquille O’Neal’s.

Blunts, a 23-year-old rising star from Davenport, Iowa, has been making waves with his bold lyrics and unique voice. But at the concert, he grabbed attention for more than his music. Dressed in a vibrant purple tracksuit, Blunts performed while lounging on a couch with his oxygen tank close by—reasons for which are still unknown. And while fans watched him with concern, the rapper launched into a fiery rant aimed at Snoop.

“Aye, Chicago! Do y’all have a problem with me sitting down on this stage?” When fans roared back, “No,” Blunts doubled down, yelling, “Exactly. So, get the f–k off my d–k, Snoop Dogg.”

Interestingly, Snoop also had a response. He shared the clip on Instagram with a cryptic caption filled with emojis. The video, which initially began with Blunts’ monologue, then moved to Snoop’s face as he said, “That was funny. Go ahead lil’ homie. I mean, big homie. Do your thing cuz I ain’t fucking with you

But in an unexpected instance, Shaquille O’Neal reposted the clip on his IG story. However, Blunts wasn’t done, though. He fired more shots during his set, saying, “I see the big dog talking. Snoop, you think you funny? You don’t know what it’s like to fight for your life every damn day. I got demons, and a tank to prove it.” The crowd erupted in support, clearly siding with Blunt’s passionate response.

Notably, Snoop Dogg, an ardent LA Lakers enthusiast, reached his peak fan moment during Shaq’s reign. He has also recorded the track ‘Purp & Yellow’ hyping the team’s glory days. The rapper’s verse famously referenced Kobe Bryant in his verse: “Swish, twenty-four, that’s Black Mamba…Snoop Dogg, he’s a dope rhymer…Collaborate with the Golden State…In a yellow six deuce with the purple plates”.

So, it’s understandable that Shaq and the Grammy Award-nominated artisthave built a good bond over the years, which also includes a collaborative rap performance. But we do not know if Shaq was chiming in to publically back his friend or acknowledge the young rapper striving through the challenges — considering he is willing to help rising talents as evident from his involvement in Whozfire.

Back in November 2024, an X user posted a clip of Blunts performing his hit, The Cup. In the video, he’s sitting in a chair, sipping from a styrofoam cup while singing. Viewers speculated that his weight might be limiting his ability to perform standing up. But that’s not all. Days after the first clip, another video surfaced of him out of breath, slumped against a wall after a concert. However, the 23-year-old reassured fans on Instagram, posting about his efforts to get healthier.

Shaq’s buddy trolls Blunt

Interestingly, Snoop loves to keep his Instagram followers entertained. From memes to playful videos, his page is a goldmine of humor. On November 9, Snoop took things up a notch by sharing a clip of comedian and rapper Dave Blunts fumbling with a cup. The post exploded across platforms, racking up views and shares, with fans cracking up at the exaggerated antics.

Adding his signature touch, Snoop captioned the video, “We’ll put down the chicken wings and Tata chips Nefew and that chair gone break soon get to the end of the cup.” While most saw the humor in it, some wondered if Snoop’s post was more than just a casual dig at Blunts. But if Snoop’s troll was meant to be funny, it clearly didn’t land well with the latter.

Though Shaquille O’Neal hasn’t directly commented yet, with his track record of stepping into viral moments, Shaq might just be the wildcard in this playful feud. Stay tuned—this back-and-forth could get even spicier.
