LaVar Ball is a genius. It was back in 2017 when he started marketing the ‘Ball Brothers’ to the world. He made outlandish claims and predictions for himself and his kids, only for many like Dennis Rodman and Shaquille O’Neal to laugh at them at the time. But little did people know that he was speaking the truth about his kids. His youngest son, Lamelo Ball, in his second season, was named an All-Star. Lonzo, the eldest son, was ascending as a player in the league before he went down with an injury.
But the one that has not had smooth sailing so far is the middle child, LiAngelo Ball. He has struggled to find a spot for him on any team so far and is still trying to make it to the NBA. But LaVar Ball still trusts all his kids the same.

In a recent interview with LaVar Ball, DJ Vlad revealed some statements made by NBA players about his kids. As LaVar was commenting on each one of them, he was told what Dennis Rodman said about his second son, LiAngelo Ball.
Dennis Rodman said that LiAngelo was an awful player and said that he only had a “10% chance” of making it to the NBA. He had not heard of this before, but LaVar was definitely not happy after finding this out.
LaVar said that Rodman is only commenting on his kid because people only care about the Ball family. He replied, “All of a sudden you a numbers guy? You ain’t no numbers guy. You really just busy putting tattoos and piercings in your nose“.
He concluded it by saying that Rodman does not know anything about basketball and should just focus on himself and his life. LaVar always has the most faith in his kids. No matter what happens, he will always support and fight for his kids.

Rodman has revealed his feelings about LaVar Ball
Dennis Rodman has talked about LaVar in various instances. He has said that he loves the guy for being a great father and provider for his family. But he absolutely hates the fact that LaVar is constantly meddling in his kid’s business. He wants LaVar to step back and let his kids play the game.
LaVar has also received backlash from Shaquille O’Neal and Nike executive George Raveling for how he is trying to use his kids to make money. But it’s safe to say that, at the end of the day, LaVar just wants the best for his kids. Seeing LiAngelo be the only one to not make it to the NBA is definitely hurting LaVar. But he is still getting tryouts.
