NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal has reached a platform that is the envy of many people. Along with an immense amount of wealth, Shaq has also garnered a huge fan following because of the 19 years he devoted to the NBA. There have been moments when the former player has made use of his influence to turn his fans’ attention toward underappreciated people.

Shaquille O’Neal recently made an effort to promote the work of an aspiring artist. The 51-year-old  took to Instagram to share a reel with his 31.4 Million followers.

The reel was published by the official Instagram handle of ‘The General’, an automobile insurance service. It featured aspiring singer Morgan Keller taking a seat in the $75,000 worth Ford Expedition and performing her latest song “Wasted”. Sitting with her in the car was Hilton Wright II, an award-winning sound engineer.

According to the video, the song playing in the background of the reel was performed in the same car. It acted as ‘The General Sound Studio’. The music was recorded as part of a collaboration with Epic Records. The reel has the caption “Morgan kicked it into 5th gear for this track”. Acting as a promotional video for both the artist and the company, the reel has received more than 14500 views. Promoting Morgan’s music isn’t the only time that Shaq has made use of his influence

Shaquille O’Neal has revealed many different sides of himself over the past few years. One of them is his appreciation and respect for the music industry.

A few days ago, Shaq sent an appreciation message to an aspiring rapper, NTS Staxx. Furthermore, the former player even provided a cosign of one of the rapper’s songs. Prior to that, Shaq promoted the work of another aspiring artist, Loaded Lux, with whom the former player had a rap session back in 2012.

Going by the stage name of ‘DJ Diesel’, Shaq himself boasts of being an aspiring artist. Starting off his rap career while playing for the NBA, Shaq received a platinum certification for his first album, ‘Shaq Diesel’. He recently made headlines after performing, along with his millionaire stepson, at a UFC After Fight Party. As of this date, the legend has about four studio albums, two soundtracks, two compilation albums, and 19 singles to his name.
