“Prove It”: Skeptical 7’1 Police Officer Shaquille O’Neal Challenges Social Media Influencer After Refusing to Believe What He Does

Since the NBA season got over, Shaquille O’Neal was relieved from his duties as a basketball analyst. Over the last few months, he’s been enjoying his summer. DJ Diesel performed in Chicago at the famous music festival, Lollapalooza. Just a few days after, he was spotted hanging out with a rather special group of people. The Los Angeles Lakers legend also encountered a social media influencer whom he challenged to prove his skillset.

Just like Shaquille O’Neal who’s quite famous and active on social media, there are many intriguing personalities online. Big Diesel encountered one such man who is quite fluent in Shaq’s language, basketball. The meetup between the two was quite interesting.

Trickshotcop is a police officer who posts clips of his flamboyant basketball skills on Instagram. He is also seen bullying some folks in 1-v-1 matchups. He enjoys a following of over 300,000 on Instagram and over a million on TikTok. Recently, the online phenomenon caught up with basketball great Shaquille O’Neal,  and the duo shared a rather wholesome moment.

O’Neal was spotted donning a full police uniform and caught up with folks from law enforcement. He also met the famous trickshotcop. The seven-foot giant signed a ball for him as someone announced, “Now you gotta do a trick with that ball.”

Shaq, as always, was up for some fun and exclaimed, “Yeah, Prove it!” 

The influencer took up the four-time champion’s challenge and quite effortlessly spun the ball on his index finger garnering applause from the people. Shaq replied, “Hi I am Shaquille O’Neal. This is trickshotcop. I have signed this ball. So you’d a trick with this ball I know it’s real.”

Shaquille O’Neal is an exceptional individual. He got his name etched in the Naismith Basketball Memorial and it was reported that he’s also a registered police officer in the USA. He was sworn in as a reserve in Miami Beach.

On his journey to becoming a police officer, he said, “This was on my list as a youngster. I said one day, I wanna be a cop. I think I can lead a force. Like a lot of people would give me badges. You know what, if you give me a badge when I go out on the street, the officers are not going to respect me.”

One can imagine that criminals everywhere must be shaking in their boots. A 7’1 Shaq chasing you in uniform is surely a prospect to avoid.
