Shaquille O’Neal was a star of the reality TV show Big Chicken Shaq, which showcased a rather unique business model with a different marketing approach. Shaq brought his restaurant chain to the city of Chicago almost seven decades after $214 billion McDonald’s opened its first chain in New York.
Whether Shaq’s restaurant can overtake McDonald’s in terms of valuation remains to be seen. Turns out you are cursed with the will to win once you become a top-notch athlete, as it’s rather inspiring to see Shaq still wanting to dominate all the facets of his life and competition.
