The New York Knicks and the Indiana Pacers will play game 7 for a place in the Eastern Conference finals. The famous Madison Square Garden will host game 7 and the fans will hope for a similar result as game 5 where Knicks were comfortable winners. 121-91 was the score in favor of the home team and celebrations from the fans were at the highest level. But a certain Miami Heat Legend isn’t happy with the celebration antics and questioned the fans – “Popping Champagne? For Real?

Udonis Haslem tells Mike Miller how he feels about the Knicks and their fans on the latest episode of the OG podcast. The OGs gave their prediction on the winners of game 7. Miller was in awe of the celebration and atmosphere at the Garden. He said, ” The New York part of the basketball stuff when it’s playoff basketball that place is electric right now”. But UD had another word for the fans and called them “obnoxious as hell”.

The 3× NBA champion thinks the Knicks will win the series but is unsure about the fan’s celebration. “They obnoxious as hell and they they a little annoying you know what I’m saying…you would have thought that the first round was the championship like they already got the title when they beat Philly. I was like damn where the trophy like they popping champagne? For real?”

The 43-year-old also claimed that the Boston Celtics will easily win against the Knicks. Jalen Brunson and Co. wouldn’t have enough in the tank against Boston. “They don’t got a chance in hell, they got a better chance wrestling the alligator,” on any team coming up against the Celtics. But he has one concern with the form of the Boston Celtics.

Udonis is unsure if the Celtics are “battle-tested”

Before wrapping up the series against the Cleveland Cavaliers, Udonis Haslem shared his viewpoint on Celtics’ impressive run. On ‘NBA Today’, he said, “But what I will say is, Boston, nobody is going to beat them right now, we understand. They haven’t been battle-tested. I don’t know if that’s a good thing to get battle-tested in the finals.”

Already considering Boston favorites to win the Eastern Conference, Udonis Haslem further added, “I don’t know if you want to get battle-tested in the finals. I don’t know if you want to be battle-tested by Denver or Minnesota, or one of those teams; that might be too late to be battle-tested.

Do you agree with the prediction from the Vice President of Basketball Development for the Miami Heat?
