The Instagram page named, ‘flyandfamousblackgirls’ shared a throwback post on the time when Gabrielle was rising to prominence in Hollywood. Throughout her career, the actress has starred in numerous hits and played intriguing roles. That post is filled with nostalgia, which must have swept over her.

She reshared the post on her IG story and wrote, “22 years Water and boundaries y’all.” It consists of several snaps and throwback pictures of the actress from her photoshoot with Kwaku Alston in 2001. Again, a nostalgic reminder of her acting and modeling flair. This was a very special year for Gab.

Her fabulous performances in the films ‘The Brothers‘ and ‘Two Can Play That Game‘ helped her gain widespread attention. But it was in the year 2003 that she landed her first lead role in the film ‘Deliver Us from Eva’. Playing Eva was a challenging job. The director of the movie, Gary Hardwick, who has previously worked with Gab, knew the right person to cast for that role.

Hardwick’s choice was not wrong after all as the 50-year-old was lauded by movie critics and audience for her performance. Since then, she has featured in more than 25 movies and shows. The best part is that she is not yet done with her magic.
