Gasol joined the league in 2001 and it was only in 2008 that the Spanish-born player landed in LA. At the time, Kobe was figuring out combinations for his fourth NBA title and Gasol was almost like the last piece of that puzzle. The duo immediately went to work and started showing results for the franchise. The NBA veteran reminisced about those moments as a Lakers star while promoting his recently premiered series.

The documentary series is in three chapters. The first chapter will focus on his time with the Memphis Grizzlies and the move to the Lakers where he met Kobe, who would soon become a brother to him. Gasol was with the Grizzlies for the first 7 years of his career, making one NBA All-Star appearance in 2006.

The second chapter will be about his move to the Lakers and the consecutive championships they clinched.
