Party King Shaquille O’Neal PSA for New Year’s Could Help You Celebrate Safely

Shaquille O’Neal knows how to throw a party. Whether it’s his Super Bowl extravaganza or his New Year’s Eve bashes, a party hosted and deejayed by the Big Aristotle is the place to be. He’s never going to do it recklessly though. Anyone who wants to party like Shaq, know that there are at least two rules to follow from the big party maniac himself.

Shaq shared his pieces of advice for everyone ringing in 2024 to do so responsibly on The Big Podcast. “First thing you should always put in your head is be safe. Second thing you should always do is act out scenarios you know can happen. If I drink and drive I don’t want to tell you those scenarios.” 

He further told his listeners/viewers to  sort out transportation well ahead of time. And when it comes to it, call their ride back home early. Shaq has already kept his transportation ready and has plans to throw it down on the last day of 2023 because he knows he’s not driving.

His second piece of advice is directed to all the guys. “Brothers, turn it off on New Year’s okay?” he said.”You dress up, you dance with your lady, with your boys. Don’t be going to the club with animosity starting to fight somebody bump into you.”

This was not a courtesy Shaq extended his opponents on the court. But he’s rather chill in a club and never looking for a fight. He hopes others do the same too.

“‘Cause I seen a lot of things pop off on New Year. So make sure you get home safe, go into the club with a clear mind and just do the right thing.” This advice will serve well throughout 2024 and beyond.

Shaq stated, “This New Year’s I’m going crazy. I may take a couple of shots.” He’s got a packed DJ schedule at the stroke of midnight and again at 1 am to 3 am. He’s going to kick it back and relax between sets. Don’t expect him to start 2024 with brawls.

He warned other party animals that there will be consequences in their personal and professional lives for going too crazy on New Year’s. Shaq’s priority for you on Jan 1, 2024 is, “get home safely.”

All heroes don’t wear capes. Some of them are hoopsters in an alternate DJ career who call themselves Superman.
