An Instagram handle by the name of ‘fimwinners’ recently uploaded a reel. It highlighted a moment that took place 7 years ago when O’Neal appeared for an interview on In Depth With Graham Bensinger. During the same, the interviewer presented Shaq with a series of questions that were brought forward by other individuals. One of them was a mechanic by the name of Jesse James.
Jesse touched base on the $55000 bike that he built for the NBA star. After acquiring the same, Shaq would take the bike to the Century Club in LA and boast that his latest purchase was worth $155000. The interviewer wanted to know why Big Diesel would lie about the price.
Shaquille O’Neal didn’t have to think long before replying. According to him, the reason was only to make Jesse James’ brand earn more.
“I only paid fifty but if I tell them I paid 100, when they come ask for the same bike and you tell them a 100, your profit is a 100,” said Shaq during the segment. “I was looking out for you, not for me.”
