The NBA broadcasting world just got shook, with a shake-up bigger than Charles Barkley’s golf swing. After giving two decades of his life sharing iconic moments, legendary banter, and basketball brilliance, he became one of the most recognizable voices in the game. Now, the man is making a move that has got everyone talking. Reggie Miller is stepping into a new phase of his career.

For about a score of years, Reggie has been the smooth-talking basketball-savant glue that held the TNT ship together. He always had a personable character be it always roasting Chuck, or just vibing with legends such as Shaq or Ernie Reggie Miller was a must-watch. The man who made clutch threes and equally clutch commentary made everything look easy.

Here’s the kicker, starting next season, Reggie Miller will be trading his TNT mic for a new gig as NBC’s lead game analyst.  Evan Sidery shared a post on X, stating, “NBC announced Reggie Miller will be leaving TNT to join their broadcast team as a lead game analyst beginning next season. Miller was with TNT for 20 years.” For TNT, this is a tough pill to swallow, as replacing a legend will not be easy, However, for NBC, it is a slam dunk hire. The knowledge, charisma and the ability to break down the game in a way Reggie possess is second to none. His ability to decode information to the ground level, so that even an individual who calls travelling “walking” can understand is a huge win.
