First LeBron James, and now Kevin Garnett is in the news as Rajon Rondo returns to the basketball court! However, not for himself. The 2x NBA champion has a young son who already looks like an elite baller. Believe it or not, some people have seen this all-grown-up pre-teen play some excellent hoop as a little kid. While his journey in his father’s footsteps began quite early on, he has now started making some noise with his skills.

Not long ago, LeBron gave him a shout-out for making the sport look easy. And this time, it is yet another teammate of Rajon Rondo from the championship-winning duo to comment on his basketball prowess. Kevin Garnett, former Boston Celtics star, shared a post by @ballislife on his Instagram story showing his surprise. He captioned it, “Pierre out here GETTING MONEY. I Love it.. N you said he’s a better at football.. that’s what’s up.” His long line of emojis showed how this little prodigy has blown his mind away.

The post he shared showed Rajon Rondo Jr. sharing the court with his peers and trashing them within seconds. Whether you look at the passes he makes and gets or the swift buckets he makes, the clips are aptly captioned, “Rondo Jr is a HOOPER…do you see any similarities in his game to his dad’s??”

With pure skills and quickness, Jr. looks like he is all set to be in his father’s shoes. The video seems to be from the tryouts going on for Pierre’s premier youth basketball program — Rondo Elite — based in Louisville, Kentucky.

Rondo Elite for the youth, what is it?

While Rajon Rondo is not playing in the NBA at the moment, he has started passing on his skills to the young ones. Rondo Elite aims to help young ballers improve their basketball skills and provide them with a higher competitive environment. The Home of Kentuckiana’s Premier Youth Basketball Program raises the competitive spirit of their ballers while also nurturing their talent.

They also have travel programs for various age groups and a “Coaches Corner” where Rondo Elite provides the coaches with the guidance to direct players in order to help them succeed.

It is good to see that even with all the legal troubles, Rajon Rondo has all the support from his former teammates. Moreover, Pierre’s child making the legends look at him is surely a bonus. What do you think about Rajon Rondo Jr.?
