The four-time NBA champion is more than a basketball legend. The philanthropist turned television personality repeatedly shows his fans that at the base of everything, he’s just a “big kid”. Recently, he drove that point home when he joined a TikTok trend that encourages users to showcase their authentic selves.

The ‘Wild Side’ challenge features a group of people dancing in two styles; one, laidback and the other, hyped. O’Neal’s version featured him and six women enthusiastically dancing.

Brandishing the phone flashlight, he hyped up the other six women dancing next to him. One of them shared the post on their IG and captioned it “I’m convinced we will never grow up.”

The  Los Angeles Lakers legend consistently shares these moments with his 33.1 million Instagram followers.  In 2022, O’Neal posted a video on his social media account, featuring his Bamba dance. Dressed in a suit, he showcased his impressive dance skills.
