Many legends of the Los Angeles Lakers attended the ceremony, but Kobe’s wife Vanessa Bryant was the highlight of the show for delivering a moment of savage. Within 24 hours, $157 billion worth- Nike has already managed to make that moment iconic! 

Vanessa Bryant knew that there would be some criticism of the Black Mamba’s pose in the statue. It was from his 81-point game against the Toronto Raptors, where he points his index towards the sky. This famous moment was immortalized, and Vanessa had to let people know that this was Bryant’s desire. In her speech yesterday, Vanessa said, “For the record, Kobe picked the pose you are about to see, so if anyone has any issues with it, tough s***“. Fans absolutely loved her response, and that’s when Nike grabbed the opportunity.

The multi-billion brand gifted Vanessa a grey hoodie, worded, “Tough S***”. Notably, the letter ‘T’ was replaced with the symbol of Kobe’s brand logo, which has made the tribute more prominent now.

Vanessa replied to Nike, “Lol. Thx for my new hoodie @nike, #ToughShit ~ Queen Mamba”. Well, the NBA community is loving it.
