You know, what do you want to do? Because the NBA can’t control that. Your financial advisors and you know your closest family wants to see you prosper as the years go on.” Dominique also revealed in that interview that his former agent stole a massive $600,000 from him in the past.
Wilkins made it clear that the NBA has systems in place in order to educate the stars on money. Ultimately its on the athletes on how they decide to spend their money. The main accountability always lies on the hands of the young basketball stars and they should be careful with their money.
