Two years in but the honeymoon period is far from fizzling out for the love-struck Hendersons. Through her big memoir release and the complementary press tour, Shaunie Henderson did not skimp out on the celebrations for her second wedding anniversary with Keion Henderson. They had a dreamy wedding in Anguilla on May 28, 2022. Two days later now, Shaunie let her Instagram followers know, “#ItsStillOurAnniversary” with the cutest message to her husband. It’s just the cherry on the top of this romantic cake Shaunie let her followers in.

“Love is not about how many days, months, or years you have been together. Love is about how much you love each other every single day. #ItsStillOurAnniversary #TheHendersons,” Shaunie wrote for Keion with a series of happy couple pictorials to complement it.

Pastor Keion Henderson responded to her sweet message with a simple, “Happy anniversary baby. I love you” and a few heart emojis.

As Shaunie Henderson hinted, it’s the latest in a spree of heartfelt proclamations of love for their second anniversary. On May 28, they did a combined Instagram post wishing, “HAPPY 2nd ANNIVERSARY TO US!” It went with a video of their past two years of marriage.

Shaunie is currently promoting her memoir, Undefeated. Her past marriage and divorce with Shaquille O’Neal are taking most of the focus. But the book also delves into Shaunie’s feelings leading up to her marriage to Keion.

Shaunie Henderson’s second act

Henderson revealed recently she began writing the book in 2018 but wouldn’t stay on track. She’d eventually meet Henderson and they’d get engaged in 2021. But it was a major change for Shaunie. Since her divorce from Shaq in 2011, she has learned to depend solely on herself. She had to adapt to having a partner again to make her relationship with Henderson work.

The Houston-based pastor celebrates his birthday on July 6. For his first birthday after their wedding, Shaunie gifted him a yacht vacation in Europe as their honeymoon. Shaunie moved to Houston with her youngest two children. Hers and Shaq’s five kids also admire their bonus dad who is a big-time hype man with everything they do.

At the first year mark, Shaunie expressed her gratitude for having Keion in her life. Their unity has only shown in bigger and better ways in the past year. They’ve been a combined unit through their ministry at Houston Life Church. The Basketball Wives star also furthers Henderson’s newly launched faith-based YouTube show. He’s supporting her through the negativity surrounding her book and being an overall outstanding hype man. All signs point to this couple being a lasting one.
