NBA on TNT panellist, Shaquille O’Neal is keeping an eye on the college football scene too. He recently shared a clip from CBS 60 Minutes on his Instagram Stories, which made it obvious who he thinks is the best coach in collegiate football.
The video in question is of NFL legend and the salvation of Colorado football, Deion Sanders. He was asked, “Who’s the best coach in college football?” In authentic Prime Time style, Sanders said, “Let me see a mirror so I can look at him.”
He’s a good many things but he’s not going to downplay the three big wins the Buffs have enjoyed thus far. It’s all a direct result of the headstrong coach’s unorthodox revamp. He’s still got a lot to do than answer a redundant question.

“You think I’m going to sit up here and tell you somebody else is…” He told CBS anchor, Jon Wertheim. “You think that’s the way I operate? That somebody else got that on me?” He has all the reason to gloat. After being written off, the Buffs have won against top teams like TCU, Nebraska, and Colorado State.

However, Shaq has only displayed a tiny snippet. In the larger context, Sanders did name the one coach he admired: Alabama’s Nick Saban. It probably didn’t matter to Big Diesel who has made his pick clear.

The last game between the Buffs and the Colorado State Rams got a bit ugly. Sanders’ quarterback son, Shedeur Sanders, got into it with players from the opposing team. Rams players apparently mocked Coach Sanders too.
The Rocky Mountain Showdown between both schools is already historic. It was so intense this time that it got Shaq’s attention. He shared the altercation on Instagram too, proving he has eyes on Boulder.
