Shaquille O’Neal is nursing a heartbreak after NFL’s Super Wild Card Weekend. That was when his favorite team, the Dallas Cowboys, suffered a huge 48-32 upset against the Packers. So, forgive him for dragging them into conversations during his return to TNT Tuesdays. He’s talking about the Los Angeles Clippers this time and hinging his hopes on Paul George and James Harden.
He’s not learned his lesson from the Cowboys and is betting on them to win the Super Bowl. And he’s similarly betting on PG and The Beard. Knowing how injuries have hampered both of them from being the best, Shaq believes, “if they don’t ‘disappear,’ they have a shot at winning the championship.” By ‘disappear, he means if they remain uninjured and don’t fade into the background.
But injuries are unpredictable. Hence Shaq says, “That’s why I don’t really get too high, because they going to do the same thing the Eagles dipped…Eagles, Cowboys did for them.” Salt on wounds, Shaq. Even Adam Lefkoe said, “That was so unnecessary.”

It really was. Paul George had a dominant performance against the Oklahoma City Thunder. He scored a season-high 38 points in a 128-117 win. Shaq himself is prematurely implying that Clippers could win this season under PG. Nothing could stir an NFL fan or two than this subject.

The Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles have been ousted from the NFC leaving the San Francisco 49ers standing in a surprising plot twist. As they say, the Cowboys are good at losing a playoff matchup. At the start of the season, Big Diesel went big claiming his faves are winning the Super Bowl. The Cowboys haven’t won a championship since 1995. After the upset loss, Shaq spilled out his frustration.

Shaquille O’Neal is ‘fed up’
Like many disgruntled fans, the target of ire was quarterback Dak Prescott. Shaq was backing him throughout the season. Before the Wild Card game, he was on Stephen A. Smith Show bullying the ESPN veteran with his Cowboy fans avatar, Tex Johnson.
Following the elimination, he took the humorous route by again sharing an edited video on his Instagram. The clip showed Prescott in a press conference and an angry fan lunging at him. The video said, “Dallas Cowboys fans are fed up.” It’s not O’Neal’s words but the lighthearted exasperation is clear.

Jokes aside, things are looking bleak for Prescott and Head Coach Mike McCarthy who are both in the final years of their contracts. Shaq’s favorite team might undergo serious restructuring in the near future.
